I would have preferred to use metal or wood, but decided to use plastic because of the trailer weight issue. The truck is capable of pulling "just so much". We have to be very careful not to go over the limit....so less is definitely more here. Every little ounce adds up, right?
Anyway, it was easy...they're the kind you just wet, rub and stick to the wall (or glass)! No holes!
:-)

Installed the 32" flat screen Samsung TV today...

There wasn't anything strong enough in the wall to attach the tv mount to, so a friend took the wall apart and installed some good wood to attach the tv mount to after replacing the wall. We're finding out more and more as we go along, just how cheaply "they" put these RV's together to make a quick buck. We have had to purchase so many things that really should have been included in the first place. Oh well, live and learn. I've been reading many other's blogs and forums and I realize now that the cheapness, incompleteness and shoddy workmanship of RV's is pretty much universal. Well, that's ok....we'll just continue to fix it up ourselves and make it better! I really enjoy learning new things... and some of it is actually fun to do!

Checking it out again today, "walk-through" tomorrow...

We rode the bike out to General RV so William could ride it up into the trailer's "garage" to measure for the tie-downs. A few things we're not too happy about (I'll write in more detail about everything another time), but, we'll know more tomorrow after the "walk-through" which they told us would take about three hours. Then we get to bring our "second home" home! :-)
